Mandatory trip (15 minute walk from our place) to the Eiffel Tower.

On Wednesday we walked all the way from Arc de Triomphe to Les Halles

Sunset from the Seine on the way to the Louvre.

I couldn't help but be annoyed by all of the tourists walking in front of our photo op.

View from inside the Louvre.

Picked this one out for Aditi, Lindeman's Faro, probably the best beer they brew.

Started Thursday off with a trip to Versailles: one of the various fountains.

We enjoyed the view and a typical French lunch (Jambon et fromage sandwiches) as well as the view.

Gardens behind Marie Antoinette's guest quarters.

The most extravagant room in Chateau Versailles.

Found a nice Lebanese place to have dinner, Sarah picked out an amazing spread for us.

Hommos, Grape Leaves, Falafel.

Traditional Lebanese Salad.

Chicken, beef, and frites.

Managed to make it to work on Friday. Simon and I enjoyed a lingering Xmas beer from Belgium.

After lunch we were both thirsty, so I suggested the NA German beer he had in the fridge.

Celebrated Emily receiving her resident card with a solid Biere Blanche.

Decided to switch it up and have my first Westmalle Dubbel. One of the best and most available Trappist beers; paired well with our Planche Fromage.

Ended the night with Het Anker's Cuvee Van De Keizer. A great strong dark ale from Belgium, brewed only once a year.

Started Saturday off with a trip to the "Indian Quarter" to have a traditional (vegetarian) south Indian Lunch. Aditi picked out her favorites; starting with Samosas.

Jogurt Dava.

Poori with all of the fixings: coconut, choli, tomato, and masala.

We devoured the first plate so we decided to go with Dosa for the next round.

Curry Paneer; obviously much better than Trader Joe's interpretation.

Had my dessert (Lion Stout) on the way to Montmartre.

Square at Montmartre; full of artists and their paintings.

View of Sacre Coeur on our way back homr.
